Normally I don't really rant on LJ; there are enough people doing that. But I think this deserves it. I promise to be brief.

WILL THE MEDIA PLEASE SHUT THE HELL UP ABOUT TIGER WOODS? THIS IS NOT NEWS, AND IT CERTAINLY DOESN'T DESERVE TO BE THE LEAD STORY ANYWHERE (except maybe the sports channels where the rest of the world can ignore it)! There are wars, earthquakes, floods, politics and other disasters (yes, I MEANT to include "politics" in there) as well as news that ISN'T bad, SO PUT THIS STORY ON THE BACK BURNER WHERE IT DAMNED WELL BELONGS!
