thoughts on Iron Man

farrandyIf you haven't seen it, I don't think I'll spoil anything, but you can skip this if you want.
IMPORTANT LESSON LEARNED FROM IRON MAN:
Always wear your seatbelt; you never know when your car is going to used by a couple of giant robots in a game of catch while you're inside.
Also, can you imagine the insurance report?
Insurance Agent: ...And your car was damaged...how?
You: A couple of giant robots were using it to play catch. Lucky me and the kids had on our seat belts, eh?
IA: I...see. I'm afraid your policy doesn't cover giant robots.
You: Oh, come on! This is Los Angeles! Surely this comes under the superhero clause?
(This is probably funnier if you insurance agent is that Geico Lizard.)
Also, thank goodness for time compression in movies. Even at supersonic speeds, that flight fro L.A. to the Mid-East must have taken some time. Hope old Tony had some audiobooks onboard. And what if he had to go to the bathroom in mid-flight? I suppose he had some way to...er..evacuate his biological byproducts built in. He seemed like a smart guy.
The Better Half says I shouldn't think about this stuff to much. She's probably right.
